To whom it my concern

A major part of this Blog is the excerpts (revised) of a book I am writing by the same name "A Funny Little Though,"

It is my hope to help serve mankind and the Mother of all of us Mother-earth.

True we were born sinners but we were also born to be "stewards" of this land we call Mother-earth!

Our economy has been going to the dogs since the 80's

The media can only downplay it so far, without someone taking note and truly figuring out what is truly going on. It is my good fortune that my mother seen fit that I have my own views and to see first hand our Country’s beauty as well as it’s repulsiveness. I did not have to rely on TV to instruct me on the issues at hand, I found them out on my own by talking to the people of this Great Land, from the Coast of Maine to the Coast of California, and from the Rocky Mountains to the Rio Grand. Your Voices are crying out everywhere I go and yet it seems that only I hear you and not your leaders.
To start with, how can our Government say that this country is on the rebound with our economy, when they never even mention to the general public that we where heading for a recession in the mid 80’s, do to the sell off, uprooting and or closure of American factories (Textiles is #1), Business, and of Military Bases in the US.
The worst stricken, as a result of the 80’s sell off, was the East coast, primarily New England. (Don’t get me wrought though, for it happened on a National level.) I witnessed the virtual sell off of “The American Worker”, non Union and Union alike, as the Textile industry let go of over 250 years of dedicated Textile workers, leaving them with out a future, a future that at one time was a family tradition. No more will the Knowledge be past down from generation to generation.
Nike, McDonalds, and Pepsi, stands out the most to me, for abandoning the American workers! However, it was not just these institutions, and it was not just the Textile companies that abandon the US economy to the wolves, moving much of our manufacturing, and industries, to cheaper labor overseas, under the guise of the NAFTA Banner, and other acts passed by our own elected officials.
The funny thing is that we the consumer, have NEVER seen the savings from the cheaper labor. If anything we have only seen prices go up, at an astronomical rates, at the same time, watching growing inflation eating up the value of our dollar and it’s buying power, which is unfortunately controlled by the Federal Reserve (The Federal Reserve is not even run by us or our own government, but controlled by a group of International Bankers, not our elected officials and was established under F.D.R.) What's more, at the same time, Union Workers suffered some of the worst defeats in the Union History in the 80’s and have recently suffered even more. These loses have cost both Union and Non-Union Workers more than jobs of the time; it has cost them future jobs, retirement benefits, healthcare and more.
Little do people realizes that without Unions, a job that offers a safe work environment, a far wage, with retirement benefits, and healthcare would not be available to any Blue or White Collar worker today. Before Unions there was no such thing as a safe working environment, an honesty day’s wage, the work shifts were long, let alone, any such thing like health care and pensions was nil. Before Unions, sweatshops and child labor, was the way things were done (and in Foreign Countries still is). Skilled work forces were nil, with shop mishaps and work related death an every day occurrence. What are we going to do if the Unions cease to exist? We have been given a glimpse of what our future holds with the refinery plant explosions down south do to unskilled, overworked, and underpaid work force. We must support all Union workers, even if we are non-Union. For without them we the common worker, loose our future as well.
This upheaval on the East coast has spread like a plague across our fair country. Now that it is affecting white-collar workers, people are taking notice. I hope that it is not to late to save and preserve our Domestic workforce. We as workers and consumers have lost so much already. It is up to both of us worker and consumer, to make a difference and hold Big Business accountable.
In the past, we the America Work Force at one time, prided our selves on making money by producing the finest quality made product in the world, now we pride our selves on how much money we can make with as little effort and with the lowest cost as possible to make the most profit, and the savings is never passed on to the consumer, and definitely profits are not see by the work force.
In closing, I would like to say it is even a more appalling act, to think that my hero G. I. Joe is “Made in China”, a communist (collective) country making our children's toys that represent our so called “American Ideals”. Thank you Mattel for selling out our Country Ideals, our childhood, and our children’s childhood as well as the American Worker (I am not blaming China, just Mattel).
It is not the Chinese people or any other peoples of our planet fault, for being in need of work is not a bad thing. They are just like us; we are all just someone to be used for the personal gain by most of our high-ranking business officials and many of our Political Leaders. We are almost 100% expendable at this time, for the needs of the few, seem to out weigh the needs of the many and never once to be respected by the corporations or our local, state, and federal governments for even our existence or accomplishments in life (death tax). We are only recognized for what they can appropriate from us and then sell it back to us at a higher cost. It is not the fault of the people of any Country, that their government allows the virtual sellout of the working folks and leaving them with nothing more then a non-living wage, but we can blame the UN, business officials, and our government leaders, and many International Bankers, but please do not blame the people who do not have a voice! For it is their blood and the blood of their children spilt upon the land, that makes a Country Great, not the blood of any Leader I know of. Is it spending the moneys made from the sweat of the brows of the workers folk, they do best!
When it comes to the Military Bases, complete closure is not in the best interest to the US border and the people therein. It is one thing to close the Military Bases in the center of the US; it is a nether to close any Military Base in any State that represents a US Border. If the US Government were playing the game of RISK they would lose. Military and non-Military workers suffer when these bases close. Entire communities have suffered irreversible economical instability. Just as Union and Non-Union workers have suffered, so is it that Military and Non-Military worker (civilian population) and their communities are suffering do to these closures. True “Homeland Security,” is at “Risk,” do to these practices. All States bordering the U.S. should have all bases open and ready, before we get caught with our pans down.
Whole communities have collapsed do to the unfortunate and unfair practices, mentioned in the paragraphs above. Way do Local Leaders have the inability to act, and make their voices heard, on behalf of the people they represent and the communities they were sworn to protect ($)?
Further more, Big Business in selling out the American Skilled Workers, Superior Goods, and Our Economic Stability, they have done more harm to our country livelihood then the Terrorist ever could. More ghost towns have been born in the US in the last 20 years, than all that came about do to the gold rushes in the 1800’s dieing out or the railways.
We need to stand-up to be heard, not lie down, and settle for second best; with this “Dollar Store” mentality we aren’t going to get far.

Part 2, If we are “A World Nation” were is our vote

I only see the people with associations in the churches, whether it is the Christian, Jewish, Catholic being heard, but not really any other religious establishments, unless it is religious profiling. It seems to be the case in most country.
Primarily though, I see the Christian/Catholic movement is been represented the majority of the time by our Washington DC constituency and not “A Nation of Nations”, “A People of People”, “The Tribe of One.” Religion has no place in government affairs or court proceedings (Case in point: Our government has no right to argue the case of what is a marriage only the church that grants it has that right.
Our government must honor this marriage not debate weather its legal.).
We must revel the troops per say, by asking “The Other True American”, the one that never feels their voice is heard, to stand up now and be heard! “The People of America” should be picking their own Man or Woman for the Office, and stop letting them do it for us. Are you not despondent? The fact that you will never actually know the truth of whom is really in Office (Nudge Nudge), or who is truly “In Power”? (Absolute power corrupts Absolutely) If this is true, Vote!
A true Representative of the people, to some of “My Fellow Americans,” is one that represents all of the people of His or Hers City, County, State and Country. A person wishing to be President, should in body this way of thinking when running for office.
The only way this can truly be done in some people’s eyes is for the President not to belong to any one party. For how can you truly represent all the people if you only represent one side of the parties? You can’t! This, in the long run, can destroy even the best of Nations, just ask, Idealism! To continue this way is only going to divide this Great Nation even more than it already is, and that’s not good.

Our President when asked what party does He or She represent, should state, “I am not Republican, Democratic, or Independent, I am none of the above, for I am For the People, By the People, With the People and I will Not Elevate myself Above the People, for I am SUBSERVIENT to the needs of All the People of this Great Land and will not sway to any one parties favor, for my job is to represent the people, “Not The Parties They Belong To!” . Our Nation is like a great crystal (eclectic) with many facets and like a crystal, if you only see one facet of a crystal, you will never see its true beauty, America, is “A Nation Of Nations.”

Part 1, If we are “A World Nation” were is our vote

Here we are “We the People” of the “United States of America” intent on coming together as a people, to vote in unison, year after year. For what? With the mentality of “At least that “One” is better than the other” to vote for, that’s all you’re going to “Get.” It also seems that the only votes truly counted are the ones that have green in hand, or one could say “well to do”, certainly not the absentee balled (equaling about 85% of all Service Men & Women, the Elderly, and the Handicap & Disabled, witch is a large part of our demographic).
What about the Handicapped or the people on SSI, or in the Armed Forces, they are on average, Absentee Bailed Voters, and when counting the Presidential Votes when are their votes counted? Only 250 votes to go, ha ha, and my vote will count, “Segregated Voting” that’s a better name. Why is it that at the same time we are trying to come together as a people and vote every two to four years, I find as a people, when it comes to much else we don’t even know the other guy exists or don’t want to know.
We forget about our Common American Heritage that links us all together, why we ALL came to America, whether it was 3 days, 3 years or 300 years ago. Was it not the pursuit of happiness, freedom from persecution and the right to prosperity. The thought that here in this country OUR children would have a chance, where elsewhere they would not.
Some of us are those Children that have come from the old land to be raised or born in the new land “America”. Together, “We the People” make’s up every race on this earth. We are in a nutshell “A World Nation.” A Country that represents the views, faith, heritage, and morals of the world we live in. At the same time we live as one body, one people, one voice, one Nation. Why is it then, that the People of the World, our brethren, are so angered by our actions as “A Nation”?
To the People of the World, your children say unto you, “Do not judge us by the actions of our Leaders, Religious Establishments or Corporate Society”. Unfortunately, I do not see all of us being represented in any real capacity within the White House or on Capital Hill, or even on Wall Street, let alone in Corporate Society. Unless you are part of “White Corporate America”, your voice is never really heard.
It is not the true voice of the people you hear these days on the news, in the papers, and on the radio, unless its on Community Radio, like “Democracy Now”. Community Radio may not last either, do to “New Laws” trying to be passed by Corporate America to monopolize and then control all Television, Radio, and Internet transmissions, witch in turn the government is trying to takeover.
These are the same people lining the pockets of some of our elected Officials, or like wise our Officials are lining their pockets. They are all so inner connected, I feel like I am in the fictional novel “Fahrenheit 451” (Mirror TV!).

Blog or not to blog, Right wing views called religion

On A Blog sit by Jill Stanek I could not help but to post a comment on the Right Wing Religious view being brought forth. The following is response;

My response/comment:
We are to have a separation of church and state! I am VARY RELIGIOUS and am pro-life in many ways, but it is GODS place to judge others not mine, so when it comes to government law I render under Cesar what is Cesar’s and God what is God’s. My job on earth is not to judge or tell others what they are doing wrong, but to help them! And does not the Lord say to PLUCK THE THORN OUT OF YOUR OWN EYES FIRST BEFORE YOU DO THE SAME FOR OTHERS! None of us are without SIN! Would Jesus say it was okay a 16-year-old boys choice to be beaten, decapitated, and burned just because he was gay! The powers that be do and they use God word to justify it. No God of mine would do this! Would Jesus tell a woman that is afraid to bring a child in to this world just to suffer, that she is DAMMED! No, for he died for ALL OUR SINS. Once again, I see religious moral supersede social morals. GOD gave us the right to chose our own path and let no human or there laws stand in your way but God’s.

Jill Stanek sit Blog response:
IMO Mary Katherine, we must judge others actions and speak and act forcefully when confronted with immoral actions that lead to the corruption and compromise of souls. The proper action that balances with protecting the innocent with judging offenders often eludes me too. I have found that it is the best I can do to live by principle.

My response/comment:
From the mouth of Babes I hear:
"We must judge others actions and speak and act forcefully when confronted with immoral actions that lead to the corruption and compromise of souls."
If I thought I was pure and without SIN I would say these things too!!!!! Furthermore, one may think I have a unequivocal "GOD" complex (and could be misconstrued as a form of Blasphemy). Yet, I would never assume that I am without SIN and there for, have no right to enforce my will on others and use the Lord name to justify it! For whom are we to say that the person one is attacking was not preordained by GOD to be exactly what they are (The Lord knows all even down to the last hear on your head)? Did you ever think that they were not put here to test one such as yourself and your faith? Meaning, your faith to leave it to the LORD as HE states, or would you “Passing Judgment on Others” and take thing in to your own hands and commit an act of SIN against a child of God (for we are all his children, ignorant in "The Ways"). I have always prayed for all humanity & our planet and that includes you and by your action here I will continue to keep you in my priers, so you may find your own way to humble yourself to your LORD and except that you are nothing more then a "Babe" in the arms of your God. Peace be with you & Priers be with you and remember, “ Forgive “THEM” for they know not what THEY do!”

Jill Stanek sit Blog response:

From: truthseeker
To: Mary Katherine,
You don't have to be sinless to know when something is wrong. In fact, thanks be to God, such consiousness is a gift and a grace given even unto sinners like me and you. IMO it would be immoral not to judge and to let others go on sinning without "helping" them by making them aware of what they are doing and how it is corrupting them.

My response/comment:
In order to tell someone that they are wrong you must first Judge their actions! God is my Judge NOT YOU! The Lord said YOU MUST PLUCK THE THORN OUT OF YOUR OWN EYE FIRST! and JUDGE NOT LETS YE BE JUDGED and YOU ARE TO SHOW OTHERS THROUGH YOUR WORKS HOW TO BE ONE WITH GOD!

NOTE: In closing I wish the people of the world would STOP imposing their will upon others!
I hope that all people of the world would STOP enforcing their will on others!!!!!

Knowledge, What is it.

Knowledge to me is:
A Gift and a Curse.
A Responsibility as well as a Privilege.
To many it is Power and Weakness.
It can Move a Mountain or Crush a Nation.
Its not how old you are or what you know, it is how you use that knowledge to better yourself and help others. (Not to impose your view or beliefs on others)
Knowledge we learn from others should only be used to broaden your horizon not to narrow it!
The boundaries created by knowledge (Like Newton's Law) were meant to be broken not to be a hindrance.
Even Jesus said that we were not to "walk blindly" in the knowledge of others or in our faith.
Do not let the knowledge you learn corrupt your ability to truly learn from life around you. Our Great Parent above gave us the ability to ask "What IF?" It is your choice whether or not you act.

What of our states natural resources being stolen.

Dear Sir:
I like what you are trying to do to save our economy. Unfortunately, we are still on a downward spiral. I, as a Red Blood American think we could do more to save the people and their future economy! I do not feel it is your fault, but instead place this blame on your advisers! There is so much money being filtered out of the US right under the nose of the American people and yourself. There is so much waste still being aloud during hard times, which could be better use or distributed in this country. I am one that, as I told you before, will not be one to complain without a solution in mined. For my whole life, I have inspired to be an adviser to the President in some capacity.
Now back to the issues at hand, are you aware of the BLM land usage laws, in regard to mining! They are as follows:
“BLM Explore claims. A mining claim is a parcel of public land defined by posts driven into the ground in the corners of the parcel by a mining company or an individual. It is described in a claim form filed with the appropriate local government and Bureau of Land Management offices. For a total federal fee of $135 on a 20 to 160 acre claimed parcel (not including local filing fees), the claimant holds rights to mine the metals and minerals there. The federal government has interpreted this right to supersede all other potential uses of public land. In addition, the claim holder is not required to return any money to U.S. taxpayers for the value of the minerals extracted.”
The United States has both foreign and domestic mining companies that are shipping their profits out of the US do to our instability. The land they have secured and mined for their own gain, was intended to be lands set aside and used by all American people, by three separate Presidents
You must ask yourself at this point, if these mining companies were required to pay restitution for what they have taken from the American people, would we be as bad off at this point! Or if an Executive Order was implemented during these trying times, that mandated all said BLM mining company had to reimburse a percentage of said profits back to the people of this country for taking what was & is rightfully the American peoples.
Alaska is the only state that somewhat demands payment for their natural resources being secured and removed from their state. If each state in turn, asked for payment for resources taken and removed from their state, the states would not be so crippled at this point, or so dependent on the Federal Government to bail them out. For what is the sense of being a state if the land and resources there-in are out of your jurisdiction. Unfortunately, the Federal Government has executive rights over the land in all states. The states cannot protect their natural resources from being reaped from their state land holding, do to many Federal Land laws that superseding the states rights to said lands.
I hope this information can be of use to you and yours, vary truly your fellow American,
Mary K. Butler (AKA: Stonewallmary)

Letters to the White House

Dear Sir,
Don’t you think that if we could help the folk of Middle Class income we need to also help those of Low class? I was Middle Class, do to injury I am now Low Class, living off of $3.49 trying to raze my children (a none living wage), were before I was getting $18.00 to $24.00 an hr ($38.00 an hr OT). I feel if the FED's, passed a law that stated anyone of LOW INCOME could get free patent searches and grates to help build their idea, it would stimulate our economy, local and Federal. Plus, to think of the job growth a move in this direction would bring!
Furthermore, if the FED's bald out the people instead of the companies, with a stimulus package of the people (by the people for the people) themselves, it would help us rebound much faster. Meaning, if you sent every person in the US that is of US birth (for incomes under $40.000 or proven job loss) $50,000 to $100,000, the companies going under would have a better chance of recovery. For the hole reason why these companies are going under is do to the people having no money to pump in to our economy. What is the since of give a company money to recover if they have no clients. Vary truly Mary K. (AKA-Stonewallmary)
