To whom it my concern

A major part of this Blog is the excerpts (revised) of a book I am writing by the same name "A Funny Little Though,"

It is my hope to help serve mankind and the Mother of all of us Mother-earth.

True we were born sinners but we were also born to be "stewards" of this land we call Mother-earth!

What of our states natural resources being stolen.

Dear Sir:
I like what you are trying to do to save our economy. Unfortunately, we are still on a downward spiral. I, as a Red Blood American think we could do more to save the people and their future economy! I do not feel it is your fault, but instead place this blame on your advisers! There is so much money being filtered out of the US right under the nose of the American people and yourself. There is so much waste still being aloud during hard times, which could be better use or distributed in this country. I am one that, as I told you before, will not be one to complain without a solution in mined. For my whole life, I have inspired to be an adviser to the President in some capacity.
Now back to the issues at hand, are you aware of the BLM land usage laws, in regard to mining! They are as follows:
“BLM Explore claims. A mining claim is a parcel of public land defined by posts driven into the ground in the corners of the parcel by a mining company or an individual. It is described in a claim form filed with the appropriate local government and Bureau of Land Management offices. For a total federal fee of $135 on a 20 to 160 acre claimed parcel (not including local filing fees), the claimant holds rights to mine the metals and minerals there. The federal government has interpreted this right to supersede all other potential uses of public land. In addition, the claim holder is not required to return any money to U.S. taxpayers for the value of the minerals extracted.”
The United States has both foreign and domestic mining companies that are shipping their profits out of the US do to our instability. The land they have secured and mined for their own gain, was intended to be lands set aside and used by all American people, by three separate Presidents
You must ask yourself at this point, if these mining companies were required to pay restitution for what they have taken from the American people, would we be as bad off at this point! Or if an Executive Order was implemented during these trying times, that mandated all said BLM mining company had to reimburse a percentage of said profits back to the people of this country for taking what was & is rightfully the American peoples.
Alaska is the only state that somewhat demands payment for their natural resources being secured and removed from their state. If each state in turn, asked for payment for resources taken and removed from their state, the states would not be so crippled at this point, or so dependent on the Federal Government to bail them out. For what is the sense of being a state if the land and resources there-in are out of your jurisdiction. Unfortunately, the Federal Government has executive rights over the land in all states. The states cannot protect their natural resources from being reaped from their state land holding, do to many Federal Land laws that superseding the states rights to said lands.
I hope this information can be of use to you and yours, vary truly your fellow American,
Mary K. Butler (AKA: Stonewallmary)
